CUET is a highly competitive exam and due to which it is impossible to conduct it for everyone at the same time. This is why the exam is conducted in multiple shifts each day, which depends on the number of applicants and the number of combinations chosen by the students, so the the candidates can have a hassle free experience throughout.
However, generally the CUET exam is conducted in two shifts and the duration for CUET UG is 120 minutes and for CUET PG it is 180 minutes.
CUET UG (Undergraduate) slots and duration :
The exam is conducted in two different slots, Slot 1 and Slot 2.
The duration of each slot is 120 minutes.
The timing for slot 1 is, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The timing for slot 2 is, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
CUET PG (Postgraduate) slots and duration :
The exam is conducted in two different shifts, morning shift and afternoon shift.
The duration of each shift is 180 minutes.
The timing for morning shift is 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
